On January 16th, the ALCC Women in Green Committee held its 2025 kick-off networking event at Lifescapes Colorado. This event allowed committee members to relax and discuss best practices for accountability among peers. Char Farley proudly handed her leadership “torch” to Nicole Stone, LMI Colorado who will lead the committee for 2025.
Attendees were encouraged to connect with and continually reach out to a new accountability partner. Whether you are having a bad day, want to share a success, or just want to create new friendships and landscape projects, send a daily, weekly, or monthly text or call.
Nicole Stone shares, “I am excited to take the torch and keep the flame burning! It is well known that “Behind every great woman… is another great woman” (Kate Hodge) which is exactly what the Women in Green is comprised of. So, I could not be prouder to be a part of this organization. For those who I have not had the pleasure to meet. I am originally from Nebraska but a Coloradan at heart. I have been in the Green Industry for over two decades. I have experience in landscape construction, estimating, snow removal, irrigation installation and maintenance, and not to forget landscape property maintenance. My passion lies in creating a working environment where clients, employees, and vendors feel valued. My qualifications and experience have given me a solid understanding of business visioning, establishment, consolidation, and expansion. However, I thrive on developing strong relationships and partnerships. I am honored to holding the torch this season and look forward to meeting every one of the amazing Women in Green!”
Women in Green events are for all women working in any role within the green industry. Watch your email for future event information.
