ALCC Sporting Clays Tournament Recap: Perfect Fall Day for Competition on the Range

ALCC members enjoyed a sunny day on the range for the 2025 Sporting Clays Tournament at Colorado Clays Shooting Park in Brighton. This fall event is always the perfect opportunity to step away from daily landscape responsibilities and enjoy some friendly competition.

Located along a scenic cottonwood creek bottom with breathtaking views of Colorado’s snow-covered peaks to the west, Colorado Clays Shooting Park provided an unforgettable setting for this signature ALCC event. The picturesque backdrop reminded everyone why we love working outdoors in Colorado, even when we’re taking a break from it.

Members of all skill levels took to the sporting clays course, testing their aim while enjoying the camaraderie that makes ALCC events special. The beautiful weather and stunning scenery made for ideal shooting conditions, with participants moving through the various stations and sharing stories between rounds.

After a day of competition and a hearty BBQ lunch, members enjoyed a raffle of door prizes and every participant received a goodie bag.

The winning team was City & County of Denver:
