Help Secure H-2B Cap Relief for FY26

This is an important one — please activate grassroots now and pass this along to everyone in your organization.

Our H-2B champions in the House and Senate are preparing letters to the Secretaries of Homeland Security and Labor so that as soon as the government reopens, DHS will immediately release all authorized supplemental H-2B visas for FY 2026.

  • House letter leads: Reps. Andy Harris (R-MD), John Moolenaar (R-MI), Chuck Edwards (R-NC), Nick LaLota (R-NY), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), and Chellie Pingree (D-ME).
  • Senate letter leads: Senators Angus King (I-ME) and Mike Rounds (R-SD).

What you can do (in ~5 minutes):
Use NALP’s easy online form to email your Representative and both Senators. The tool auto-generates a message and provides instructions for them to add their names to the letters.

👉 [EMAIL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND SENATORS

Please encourage all of your employees to participate. Every message counts, and the form is fast and simple.

Why this matters in Colorado:

  • Colorado is the highest per-capita user of the H-2B program in the U.S. Our state’s green industry depends on timely visa releases.
  • J-1 visa delays in the ski industry are creating additional pressure on the overall seasonal labor pool.
  • Even if your company doesn’t directly employ H-2B workers, without H-2B there are fewer workers available across Colorado, which tightens the entire workforce and impacts your operations.

Thank you for taking a few minutes today to send these emails and help secure H-2B cap relief for FY26.

With appreciation,
